YOGA THERAPY SESSIONS
Carol is a trained Yoga Therapist and has been working with a variety health background that needs one-on-one attention to allow healing to take place. Yoga therapy is a tailored yoga practices to meet you where you are in your health, addressing any health concerns, illness or injuries to bring balance and healing in your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The set of practices may include asana (movement), pranayama (breathing), mudra (hand symbols), mantra (sacred words/sound), bandha (energetic lock), yoga nidra (yogic sleep), relaxation, meditation, dietary advice, lifestyle counselling to address the needs of the whole person.
The first session includes a detailed consultation of your state of health, assessment of your body and some practices to start working with you. You will then receive a Yoga Therapy Program the next day to start the practice. To assist your journey of healing, it is recommended to have a set of 3 sessions (suggested interval is 2 - 3 weeks) so continual progress can be implemented as needed.
